Coca-Cola


Globally one of the most recognized brands is Coca-Cola. The Coca-Cola brand is displayed on many different products from shirts to the television. This creates many opportunities for the Coca-Cola brand to give them a competitive advantage. For example Coca-Cola has has launched a reformulated Fanta, containing no added preservatives. This gives the company a opportunity to create new health products with the same coke brand. A threat for the company is other competitors coming out with better product to fit this new healthy nutrition phase that is going on in the world. The industry competition is mainly divided between Coca-Cola, Pepsi and Dr. Pepper these firms are mature and well developed. It would be hard for another company try and get into the competition with this three major companies, and it would be very expensive.
